The emergence of Chatelier was caused by the lack of prioritization from luxury skincare brands on ethical and sustainable implementations. Founder Laura Kaats was shocked to observe the performance of luxury skincare brands regarding health, the planet’s health, and the sustainability aspects of supply chains and packaging materials. Traditional luxurious brands tended to score low in terms of environment and health, animal welfare, climate, and labor conditions. At Chatelier, we want to be as transparent as possible; we are transparant about our ingredients, how we package the goods and share with you the benefits of a sustainable and organic product.
