SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

With all that's happening on the planet; resources getting tired out, forests are burning down and unrecyclable plastic waste is covering our oceans and lands, we like to do things differently. We don't want to add to the problems of the world and create more waste and tire out our beautiful planet. We like to be ECO friendly and keep our planet in mind with every production process we have.

RECYCLE TURNS THINGS INTO OTHER THINGS

We use glass bottles for our products, which are highly recyclable. When you finish your bottle, please dispose the bottle in the glass recycle bin. Glass can be recycled unlimited times.

For our magnetic boxes and mailer boxes, we use easily recyclable FSC certified cartons. When you are finished with the boxes, please dispose them in the paper recycle bin. You can also take out the inlay of our magnetic boxes and use them for storage.

Both the collar of our droppers, pumps and caps are over-shelled with aluminum, which is recyclable. We try to limit the use of plastic as much as possible and only use it when there is no other suitable option available. The insert of the droppers, pumps and caps are made of PP. All of these materials are recyclable. When you finish your bottle, please dispose the droppers, pumps and caps in the plastic recycle bin.

Together with Chatelier, you can help fight climate change by using your power as a consumer. You can support brands with environment-friendly products and encourage people to do the same. Ask brands how the products you buy are being made. It is estimated that the global number of trees is in the range of about 61 trees for every person on Earth. Every year about 15 billion trees are being cut down globally, that’s about 2 trees per person per year. Cutting down trees has an enormous effect on the planet and climate change. We want to help fight climate change and plant one tree for every product that is sold.

25 December 2020: First batch of trees has been planted in the Amazon Rainforest.

29 December 2021: Second batch of trees has been planted in Africa.

30 December 2022: Third batch of trees has been planted in Africa.

27 December 2023: Fourth batch of trees has been planted in the Andean mountains.

Planting trees in Africa will help to add nutrients to soil, while also controlling erosion. Added forest cover will diminish pressure on remaining forests, allowing for biodiversity to flourish and ultimately helping with the global climate crisis. With focus on reforesting within local communities, sustainable livelihoods will develop through the creation of jobs, thus minimizing poverty. Fruit trees will be planted in order to improve food security, which will help to feed impoverished families, and also provide them with the option to resell fruit. We will plant an array of indigenous tree species throughout Africa, such as Senegalia polyacantha, Faidherbia albida, Albizia adianthifolia, Persea americana, Calliandra calothyrsus, Macadamia spp., shea, and mahogany. Fruit trees will also be planted, which include mango, orange, tangerine, avocado, apple, guava, and Brazil nut.
